Saguaro Road Records, our own proprietary recording label, signs highly talented and uniquely American artists to launch brand new albums. Since 2008, the label has released award-winning, chart-topping songs with sounds from mainstream country to gospel and a recently emerging urban representation.
Saguaro Road Records is a record label that focuses on artists with uniquely American, roots-oriented sounds. Some albums come from hit artists like The Blind Boys of Alabama, Marc Cohn, Patty Loveless, Lonestar, Joan Osborne, and Edwin McCain. The label has recently expanded into the R&B/Urban genre with releases from Smokey Robinson, The O’Jays, and Brandy and Ray J.
- Blind Boys of Alabama: The album Down in New Orleans earned Saguaro Road Records its first Grammy Award® for the 2009 Best Gospel Album Award. In May 2011, The Blind Boys of Alabama will release a brand new country gospel album, recorded in Nashville and co-produced by country star Jamey Johnson. This brilliant collection will feature duets with legendary artists including Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Jr., Lee Ann Womack, Vince Gill, and The Oak Ridge Boys.
- Marc Cohn: Grammy Award®-winning singer/songwriter Marc Cohn achieved the highest-charting album of his career with his Saguaro Road Records release Listening Booth: 1970, which debuted on Billboard’s 200 chart at #28.
- Smokey Robinson: Saguaro Road Records partnered exclusively with Cracker Barrel Restaurant to release a timeless Smokey Robinson collection of live hits and songs from his highly-acclaimed 2009 album Time Flies When You Are Having Fun.
- Patty Loveless: Saguaro Road Records has released two Patty Loveless albums, winning the 2011 Best Bluegrass Album Grammy Award® for the second album, Mountain Soul II, and earning a Grammy Award® nomination for Best Country Album in 2007 for Sleepless Nights.
- Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business is the first family album from brother and sister duo, Brandy and Ray J. This highly anticipated album will be released soon in tandem with a VH1 reality show with the same name.
